Robot Autotune

Monitors and tunes your system automatically in real time for maximum performance. Prioritizing the allocation of processing time and memory, allowing Robot Autotune to continually tune the iSeries using the techniques you would use if you had the time.

How does Robot Autotune work?

Robot Autotune works at the operating system level, making it fast and efficient. Our tests show that Robot Autotune uses only 15 seconds of CPU time per hour to tune the iSeries automatically. Robot Autotune takes performance readings at any interval you choose, and adjusts memory pool sizes and activity levels automatically to improve performance based on system load and the priorities you set. If a pool is not using memory, the memory is moved to another pool where it is needed.
